If you have a firearm and/or are a current CHL holder that is not engaged in regular, purposeful practice, then you are not doing all you can do to be a responsible gun owner.
*A basic, solid schedule would be to shoot quarterly to maintain comfort with you firearm, keep your firearm in good shape, perform regular maintenance, rotate your ammunition, and solidify safe practices and habits.
*All former students of Texas Star Shooting may purchase a Keeping You Polished package that offers lower prices the more often you shoot. Why? Because we believe that it is the single best thing you can do for yourself to maintain the skills required to be a responsible and safe owner and carrier.
*If you are not a current or former student of Texas Star Shooting, you must fill out a registration form to start your regular practice sessions. ***If you do not feel that you are still 'proficient' with your firearm, see #2 under 'Important Considerations' below!***

1. These regular sessions are highly recommended for ALL CHL holders.
2. If you are a shooter that received their CHL some time ago (or even YEARS ago) and has not practiced since, please consider registering for the Gun 101 class, or scheduling a Private Session FIRST! Then, make the commitment to yourself to take advantage of these sessions as follow up!
****YIKES! ... you KNOW that you are out there...those people that got their CHL years ago, bought a concealed carry firearm, loaded it and have not shot it since! It might be in your purse, your car or even on your person...loaded with 'years old' ammo, in a magazine that has not had the springs released since it was loaded! This is not a safe practice! Sign up for Gun 101 or a Private Instruction session NOW, and then maintain your skills with regular sessions!
